Engineered for Demanding Environments

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) delivers a unique combination of properties that make it ideal for hot/corrosive fluid handling, electrical insulation, and structural applications where standard PVC falls short.

Elevated Temperature Performance

Handles hot water and heated chemical service well beyond the limits of standard PVC, making it suitable for continuous-use applications up to 93 °C (200 °F).

Chemical Resistance

Excellent resistance to acids, bases, salts, and many aqueous solutions. Intrinsically flame-retardant and self-extinguishing (many grades meet UL 94 V-0).

Electrical Insulation & Stability

Good dielectric properties, low moisture absorption, and dimensional stability for structural and fluid-handling parts where metal corrosion or weight is a concern.

Flame Retardant

Self-extinguishing behavior reduces fire risk in electrical and industrial equipment. Many CPVC grades carry UL 94 V-0 certification for critical applications.

Dimensional Rigidity

Excellent stiffness and creep resistance compared to many other thermoplastics, with low moisture absorption ensuring stable dimensions in humid or wet environments.

Application Versatility

Proven in chemical-processing equipment, water treatment, electrical/insulation, hot fluid handling, and structural components where metal corrosion or weight is a concern.
