Polyethylene CNC Machining Services
Custom PE parts, from prototypes to repeat production, machined with precision and engineered for real-world industrial use. PlasticCNCPro is a Dongguan, China-based CNC plastics specialist serving global OEMs and equipment builders that need dependable, cost-effective Polyethylene machining.
Engineered for Polyethylene Precision
Decades of plastic-focused machining expertise applied to PE's unique material behavior — from UHMW-PE to HDPE.
Plastic-Focused Expertise
Deep know-how in PE, UHMW-PE, HMWPE, and HDPE behavior — not a general metal shop. Our processes are built around plastic's thermal and mechanical quirks.
End-to-End Capability
Prototype, low-volume, and repeat production with consistent quality. CNC milling, turning, drilling, tapping, slotting, and complex 3D machining under one roof.
Engineering-Driven DFM
Material advice, tolerance planning, and design-for-manufacturability tailored to PE's unique properties. Clear quotations with English communication and global shipping.
Export-Ready Logistics
DHL/UPS/FedEx air express, air freight, or sea freight with export-ready packaging. Flexible inspection documentation and custom packaging to match your requirements.
Quality Systems
CMM/vision inspection, dimensional reports, material traceability, and compliance certificates (FDA/EU food-contact, RoHS/REACH) upon request.
Global B2B Reach
Dongguan-based serving OEMs and equipment builders worldwide. English communication, clear quotations, and culturally aware project management.
PE Grades We Machine
We work with common commercial and industrial polyethylene grades, each selected for specific performance characteristics.
UHMW-PE (PE1000)
Ultra-high molecular weight. Exceptional wear and sliding performance, low friction, high impact resistance. Ideal for heavy-duty wear applications.
HMWPE (PE500)
High molecular weight PE. Balance of wear resistance and machinability. Machines more cleanly than UHMW while retaining good durability.
HDPE (PE300)
High-density PE. Rigid, good chemical resistance, widely used and cost-effective. Preferred for structural and food-contact applications.
Specialty Grades
LDPE, UV-stabilized, antistatic/conductive UHMW-PE, food-contact compliant (FDA/EU), reprocessed vs. virgin options available.
Unsure which PE type is best? We'll recommend a grade based on your load, speed, temperature, chemicals, and tolerance targets.
What Makes PE Different to Machine
Polyethylene brings valuable properties but also machining challenges that our process planning is optimized to handle.
Advantages
Low friction, excellent wear and impact resistance (especially UHMW-PE), outstanding chemical resistance, good electrical insulation, low moisture absorption.
Considerations
High thermal expansion, low melting point relative to engineering plastics, tendency to smear or burr, ductility and creep under load, limited adhesive bonding.
Our approach: Tool selection, sharp polished cutters, high rake angles, heat control, and chip evacuation are optimized to control heat, stabilize parts, and maintain dimensional consistency.
PE CNC Machining Capabilities
Full-service CNC machining for polyethylene components, from simple bushings to complex 3D geometries.
CNC Milling
2.5D and 3D contours, pockets, slots, profiles, faces, and complex shapes. Precision machined with optimized toolpaths for PE's thermal behavior.
CNC Turning
Bushings, rollers, pulleys, spacers, seals, and custom shafts. Precision round parts with controlled surface finish and concentricity.
Drilling & Tapping
Optimized feeds and speeds to minimize smearing and heat. Thread milling for improved control. Metal insert recommendations for load-bearing threads.
